FAQs

  • How do I buy an original painting?

View my available originals here. I create as many paintings as possible and release them in collections on my website a few times per year. This will be advertised before hand via social media and our email newsletter. Sign up here.

How is my original painting protected?

All paintings are sealed with an archival matte varnish unless otherwise specified. This will keep the piece protected from dust, UV rays, and discoloration.

Can I get my piece framed?

Yes! Most all of my originals come framed in a custom maple float frame. If the piece you are wanting to buy is unframed, please reach out in regards to framing costs & I will get back to you within 48 hours.

  • How are your prints made?

All reproductions in the shop are giclee prints and are created using a large 44” Epson Commercial printer (Surecolor 9000) that uses a wide range of archival inks in order to create an extremely high quality, long lasting print. From photographing the piece, to editing, to printing— all is done in our OKC studio. They are printed on flat, matte artist canvas and can be matted, mounted, or stretched over wooden stretcher bars.

Will my print fade over time? Do I need to put it behind glass?

All prints are finished using either PremierArt™ Print Shield Spray or PremierArt™ ECO Print Shield. These both will allow your prints to have protection from harmful light and extend the life of your prints, whether behind glass, mounted, or stretched.

  • Who actually owns the painting?

I retain all rights to all artwork that I create. This includes the rights to the image of sold & commissioned original paintings. I retain the right to make reproductions of any and all artwork I create unless the Collector has purchased the full or partial rights to the artwork (this is in addition to purchasing the original).

The Collector or buyer may not reproduce the artwork in any way without written permission.

When you purchase an original painting you, the collector, have the right to display the artwork in your home or business, but the artwork may not be resold or reproduced without my written permission.

Please let me know if you are interested in purchasing full or partial rights to your painting.  Some collectors choose to purchase my right to reproduce the artwork to ensure it will never become a print.
