As a little girl, some of my most vivid memories involve my dad singing “Oh be careful little eyes”— my siblings & I would often come up with silly alternatives to “eyes” such as “toenails”, “nostril”, etc. It led to giggles on giggles. A nostalgic, peaceful memory that I hope resonates through this diptych.
